Message for U.S. Citizens: U.S. Embassy Bogotá – Temporary Suspension of Services at the U.S. Embassy Bogotá and U.S. Consular Agency in Barranquilla (September 25-26, 2024)

Location: Bogotá and Barranquilla

Event: The U.S. Embassy informs U.S. citizens that the Consular Section in Bogotá, Colombia will be closed to the public September 26, 2024. In addition, the U.S. Consular Agency in Barranquilla will be closed to the public the afternoon of September 25 and all-day September 26, 2024. Appointments and consular services will not be available during this time. 

U.S. citizens with life-or-death emergencies may reach a Consular Officer at +57 (601) 275-2000 during the closure.
